Mr. Fogg is the owner of Fogg's Asylum. He refers each of his patients as his “children “. Judge Turpin orders him to keep Johanna there until she agrees to marry him. Anthony tells Sweeney where Johanna is being held captive and he comes up with a idea for Anthony to rescue her by pretending to be a wig-makers apprentice. When Mr. Fogg shows Anthony the rooms where the female mental patients are, Anthony quickly grabs Johanna but Mr. Fogg realizes that he’s trying to set her free. Anthony pulls a gun out of his coat pocket and threatens to shoot Mr. Fogg if he didn’t let Johanna leave with him. In Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (musical), Anthony doesn’t have the courage to shoot Mr. Fogg, but Johanna shoots him and the pair leave the asylum to go to Mr. Todd’s barbershop. But in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007 film) Anthony threatens to shoot Mr. Fogg if he tries to keep Johanna in the asylum, instead of being shot by Anthony, the female mental patients brutally beat Mr. Fogg to death.
